REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

 

Presided by : Shri S.K. Subramanian (Correspondent VKV School Vallioor)

Chief guest  : Mr. K. Venkateshan (Senior Advocate, Vallioor)

Participants :650 Students and 50 Parents

Venue           : School Premises (VKV MHSS, VALLIOOR)

 


 

“ Remember the Golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of India”

 

 

Republic day is the occasion by remembering each and every sacrifice made, each and every life lost for the nation .  76th Republic day was celebrated in our school with great éclat.  The programme began at 9.30am. Mr.K.Venkateshan (Senior advocate, Vallioor) was invited as a Chief guest of the function.

            A warm welcome was given by  our students.  Our Chief guest Mr. Venkateshan unfarled the national flag amidst loud cheers.  Following this we saluted the :” National Flag” and sang a flag song and Vande Mataram song.   Welcome address was presented by our student Muthu Sankari, Class XI.


            Bharatham and Patriotic dance were performed by our students at the beginning of the function.  These were followed by stirring Tamil speech by our teacher M.Subbu Lakshmi and followed by English speech by our teacher K.R. Remya about  Republic day, and continuously our students were performed martial art Silambam and karate amidst great applause.

      Our Chief Guest Mr. K. Venkateshan, Senior advocate Vallioor addressed  the gathering. He emphasized the important of Republic day and responsibility of the citizens. Next sports winners prizes were given by out Chief guest, Correspondent and our Principal.  Then the momento was given by our Correspondent to the Chief guest.  Vote of thanks was proposed by our  Student Shebika, Class VIII.


                     

  
Finally the programme  was concluded with National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to Students and Parent. Our Correspondent Shri S.K.Subramanian and Principal Mr.T.Muthukrishnan arranged the function in a grand manner.

Pongal Celebration

·          We celebrated Pongal Celebration in a grand manner in our school premises. Our Correspondent and our beloved principal presides over the function as the guests. It started with Tamilthai Vazhthu. Next to that prayer song was sung by our dear students.

·          Our students beautifully decorated the dias with a colourful dance which resembles the importance of Pongal.

·          Teachers prepared the traditional pongal in the mud pot.

·          One of our teachers Mr.Bharthiraja  gave an oratious speech about the celebration of Pongal festival.

·          Then our Martial arts silambam was performed by our students and two more dances were performed by the 7th  to 9th std girls.

·          Rangoli competition was held  according to the class wise boys and girls.

·          Our Principal Mr.T.Muthukrishnan gave an oratious speech about the Celebration of Pongal  Festival.

·          Our correspondent did the pooja by lighting the lamp and atlast prepared Pongal was distributed to all the students.

·          Around 650 participants were there in the celebration. Master of  Ceremony  was did by Mrs. Devi teacher.

·          The programme concluded with Kendra prayer.
