GURUPURNIMA CELEBRATION - 2025

  Guru purunima was celebrated in our school to honour veda  vyasa who composed the Vedas.  It is actually a combination of to sankrit words ‘GU’ and ‘RU’.   ‘GU’ in sankrit means ignorance or darkness  ‘RU means the remover of the darkness.  Basically the person who is responsible for removing the darkness is known as “Guru”.

 Our Correspondent Sri.S.K.Subramanian, Our chief guest Srimaan Krishnan (Veda vidwan, Tirukkurungudi) , Srimaan Mathavan, Tirukkurungudi , Special Guest Mr.S.Sudhir Kanthan, Former President of Rotary Club Vallioor central and  our beloved principal Mrs.S.Esakkiammal  presided over the function, Our Students sang a song about Guru. Our students Kanaga Akilesh from class XII gave a speech about Gurupurnima in tamil as well as our student Sharonviji delivered the speech about  Gurupurnima in English. Our teacher Mrs.V.Thilaga read the translated message about Gurupurnima published by Man.Nivedita didi.

Our Chief guest Shriman Krishnan (Vedavidwan), Srimaan Madavan shriman Krishnan  spoke about gurus and chanted the slogans followed by the students and blessed our school.

            Besides there were other programs the Patha Pooja etc. Our teacher Mrs. Radha was  chanding slogans  and Guru songs.  Patha Pooja were performed to our school teachers by the students.

            On the occasion students were asked to get the blessings from their teachers. our XII Std Students Muthusiva Sankari proposed the vote of thanks.  Finally the function was concluded by Kendra prayer.  Our Correspondent Shri.S.K  Subramanian and our principal was Mrs.Esakkiammal  arranged the function in a grand manner.

900 students 47 teachers along with other staff gathered to celebrated “Gurupurnima”  in our school campus.

ANNAPOOJA CELEBRATION - 2025

We celebrated Anna pooja in our School on 4th July 2025, with great devotion and enthusiasm.   The programme was organized under the guidance of our respected correspondent  .S.K.Subramanian Sir and our Principal Mrs.Esakkiammal @ Devi.  The celebration began at 11.00 am with a  soulful prayer song sung by our school choirs, setting a spiritual tone for the day.  A beautifully decorated rice heap symbolizing Devi Annapoorani was arranged with care by our teachers and students.

            As part of the celebration our students sang a devotional song praising Devi Annapoorani, followed by a choir, performance in remembrance of Swami Vivekannada as the day also marked his memorial day.

 To highlight the importance of Annapooja and the values of Swami Vivekananda Mr.M.Bharathi Raja Sir delivered a speech.  He spoke about the significance of offering food with gratitude and how such traditions teach us to care for others.  Arathi was performed by our correspondent Mr.S.K.Subramanian Sir, Special Guest  Mr.S.Sudhir Kandhan, Ex.President, Rotary Club Vallioor central and our Principal Mrs.Esakkiammal @ Devi  camphor was lit and shown to the decorated form of Devi Annapoorani with full devotion. 

 

            The fragrance of   incense and the sound of devotional songs created a very divine and peaceful atmosphere. The celebration ended with the Kendra prayer. Everyone participated in the programme with dedication and joy making the event  a memorable one.
