Vidyarambham is also called Akshara Abhyasam. It is an important Hindu tradition that is observed on the Vijayadasami day. The observance of Vidyarambham marks the final and tenth day of the Navratri celebrations and it is considered to be an auspicious day for initiating the learning process, especially in young children.
In our school we celebrated Vijayadasami & Vidyarambham in a grand manner on 24-10-2023. The ceremony commenced with prayer song by our teacher G.Bavani. Next the program was started with lighting the lamp by our honourable chief guest Sri.Ayyappanji Secretary(RDP), our respected correspondent Sri S.K. Subramanianji, our beloved Principal T.MuthuKrishnan and our precious parents.
Next our teacher M.Subbu Lakshmi proposed the welcome address and introduction about Vijayadasami. Regarding the Vidyarambham celebration we have arranged Kolu in a grand manner with the support of our teachers and students. On this auspicious day we have been conducted pooja with chanting Mantras by the priest.
Then our honourable chief guest Sri.Ayyappanji delivered an eloquent speech about Swamiji and also the importance of Vidyarambham celebration. Following this our Cheif guest Sri.Ayappanji, our correspondent Sri.S.K.Subramanianji and our principal Mr.T.Muthukrishnan conducted the Vidyarambam by made the kids to write the great Matra ‘Ohm’ in the turmeric rice.
Nearly 25 parents came with their children and graced the function in an enthusiastic manner. The celebration ended with Kendra Prayer.
