·        Gurupurnima was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Vallioor on July 2026 at 11.30 am.

·        The programme began with a prayer song, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the welcome address. A graceful bharatham performance added beauty   to the celebration.

·        Mrs.T.Aishwarya delivered an inspiring speech on Gurupurnima in Tamil, explaining the importance of respecting  and expressing gratitude  to teachers.

·        Mrs.G.Kowsalya  delivered an informative speech on Gurupurnima in English highlighting the vital role of teachers in shaping the lives of students.

·        The Tamil version of Maan. Nivedita Didi’s speech was read by Mrs.M.Subbulakshmi  conveying the values and ideas of GuruBhakti. The Padha Pooja instructions were given In tamil by Mrs.Maribala teacher, guiding the students through the ceremony with devotion and reverence.

·        The Padha Pooja was  then performed as a mark of respect and gratitude forwards the teachers.  The chief guest Dr.P.Saritha Kumari, HOD department of commerce at ‘Sree Devi Kumari  women’s college  delivered an inspiring address.

·        She motivated the students to respect their teachers, follow discipline and uphold good values in their lives.

·        The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and the Kendra Prayer.

·        The Gurupurnima celebration was a memorable and meaningful occasion that reminded everyone of the invaluable role of teachers in guiding students towards knowledge wisdom and success.

 

 

Swami Vivekananda’s Mahasamadhi Day and Anna Pooja Celebration-2026

                                                   “BLESSINGS AND LOVE WITH EVERY GRAIN OF RICE”

o   Swami Vivekananda attained Maha samadhi on July 4,1902.  As the remembrance of the day, we are celebrating  “Anna Pooja” on this fine occasion every year.

o   Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vallioor  celebrated the Vivikananda’s Mahasamadhi Day  and Annapooja celebration on 04.07.2026 at 11.30am. in a grand manner.  The celebration was began with prayer song by our Students   M.Santhiya from class XI.

o   The celebration was inagurated  by our honorable correspondent  Shri.S.K.Subramanian  our Special guest Mr.S.Sudhir Kandhan Rotary club formor  president vallioor central and our respected Principal Mrs.S.Esakkiammal @ Devi .

o   Then our students Santhiya from class XI delivered the welcome address. On this fine occasion  our teacher Miss.K.Uma Maheswari gave a inspiring  speech about Swamiji and Anna Pooja celcbration.  She also shared the point emphasizing the belief that all food is divine.

o   Next a conversation was given by our class VIII Student, Rohit Mano and Venu Gopal about the Speciality of the day.

o   At last our School Students chanted the Annapoorani Mantra and following that our correspondent, our special guest and our principal did the pooja and offered the prasatham to the God.

o   The celebration ended with Kendra prayer. We provided Lunch to all in our School.  Our correspondent and our principal organized the program successfully.
