· Gurupurnima was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm
at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Vallioor on July 2026 at
11.30 am.
· The programme began with a prayer song, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the welcome address. A graceful bharatham performance added beauty to the celebration.

Mrs.T.Aishwarya delivered an inspiring speech on
Gurupurnima in Tamil, explaining the importance of respecting and expressing gratitude to teachers.
· Mrs.G.Kowsalya delivered an informative speech on Gurupurnima in English highlighting the vital role of teachers in shaping the lives of students.

The Tamil version of Maan. Nivedita Didi’s speech was
read by Mrs.M.Subbulakshmi conveying the
values and ideas of GuruBhakti. The Padha Pooja instructions were given In
tamil by Mrs.Maribala teacher, guiding the students through the ceremony with
devotion and reverence.

The Padha Pooja was
then performed as a mark of respect and gratitude forwards the

· She motivated the students to respect their teachers, follow discipline and uphold good values in their lives.
· The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and the Kendra Prayer.
· The Gurupurnima celebration was a memorable and
meaningful occasion that reminded everyone of the invaluable role of teachers
in guiding students towards knowledge wisdom and success.
