We Celebrated Krishna Jeyanthi and
Raksha Bandhan on 28th August 2024 in our School campus. The programme started at 10.30 am. Mrs.Janaki Pushpam,RDP
Coordinator of Tirunelveli Dist (Womens) Presided over the function
as the Chief guest with that our Correspondent and our Principal make their
presence on the dias. Our entire Campus
was adorned with colourful papers and flowers.
The Programme started with the prayer song by our buds of
Kinder garten. Our honourable Chief guest, Correspondent
and Principal lit the lamp followed by
that our student Anu Suji of class VII
welcomed the gathering. Students chanted
Geeta in front of the gathering. A bunch of flowers of Brindhavan surrounded
Lord Krishna for an amazing dance.
One of our teachers Mrs.Muthumari gave an oratious speech
about Krishna Jeyanthi and Raksha Bhandhan in
English. Mrs.Thilaga one of our teacher gave the speech about Krishna Jeyanthi and
Raksha Bandhan in Tamil. A dance was
performed which shows the naughtiness of Lord Kannan.
Traditional resemblance Pot breaking incident was enacted by
Krishna which is called “Uriyadi”
Lord Krishna distributed the snacks to the Chief guest and then the disguised
Krishnas’ and Radhas’ were appreciated by complements. Rakhi were tied to the brother and Sisters of
Vivekananda Kendra Vidhyalaya. Prizes were distributed to the winners of
various Competitions held before. Our
honourable Chief guest Mrs.Janaki Sister presented the felicitation address to
the gathering. Valuable thoughts were coined by our Principal to our students.
One of our students Mani Shankar of class IX delivered the vote of thanks. Atlast we concluded the programme with Kendra Prayer. Above 150 parents participated in the programme and enjoyed it.
