In our school we celebrated ‘ Mothers Day’ in a grand manner on 28.02.2015. The function was commenced with devotional prayer song by our teacher. Next our principal welcomed the gathering of the function. Mrs. Uma Parvathy, Former Panchayat President of Thirukkurungudi as a chief guest and made a great privilege for us. Mr. S.K. Subramanian graced the occasion with his support in all the arrangements.
Lot of games and competitions were conducted for the mothers and the winners were honored by giving prizes. Many mothers took more efforts and interestingly prepared more delicious and variety of dishes from ‘Green gram’. The winners were appreciated. At last the celebration came to end with Kendra Prayer.
