REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION -2024

“Republic Day symbolizes the unity in diversity  of India and reflects the ideals of, justice, liberty, equality and fraternity”.

         

       

    Republic Day is the day when the Republic of    India marks and celebrates the date on which the constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950.It is the day to express heartfelt gratitude to the marks of our constitution and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the Nation. The themes this year are likely to echo sentiments of “Viksit Bharat”    and  “Bharat –Loktantra ki Matruka”,  emphasizing India’s essential   qualities as a democracy.     

 

Our school has been celebrated the 75th Republic Day in a grand manner. The Programme began at  9.00 a.m. Mr.R.Balasubramanian officer, Fire and Safety Rescue department, Vallioor was the chief guest at this year’s Republic Day celebration, in our school. A warm welcome was given by our student to him. The celebration started with Tamilthaivalthu and prayer song.   

Then, our Chief guest unfurled the national flag amidst loud cheer, and we saluted the ‘National Flag’ and sang a flag song.           Next, Bharatham was performed, followed  by Silambam also  performed by our student.  After that , Tamil and English speeches on patriotism were given by our student Santhosh XI and Madhusri XI.  Then, Patriotic dance and “martial art” karate were performed.


 

Our Chief guest R. Balasubramanian addressed the gathering .   He emphasized the importance of martial art  and patriotism. Next our Principal T.Muthu Krishnan delivered the speech about Republic Day.  Then the memento was given to our Chief guest by our Principal. After that , sports winner prizes were disrtributed to the students.  At last sweets were distributed to all.

The program was ended with Kendra prayer and National Anthem. Our Correspondent   Shri. S.K. Subramanian arranged the celebration in successful effect.
