 “This Independence day reminds us the struggle of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for our country “

  Independence day was celebrated in a grand manner on 15th August in our school campus. Around 800 students, 60 parents and 62 teachers were gathered. The Chief Guest “Mr. Dhamodhar Ex-President, Rotary club of vallioor central” hoisted the National flag Mr. Arumugam Tahsildar retired rotary club of vallioor Central, Sir Chellappa, Dr. Selvandran were the special guests.
    Students made the celebration in a grand one by presenting different programmes yoga, karate, hoops, conversation, pyramid and speeches about freedom in Tamil and English were delivered by the students. Inspiring speeches were given by our honorable guests and they awarded prizes to the students who scored more than 95% marks during the last academic year.
    After the celebration, sweets were distributed to students and parents. The celebration came to end with Kendra prayer. Our school Principal Mrs. Maheshwari  and Correspondent “Shri. S.K.Subramanian” arranged the function in a grand one.

“We commemorate all the great personalities who had played their important role in the independence of India”.

Guru  Poornima was celebrated in our school to honour Veda Vyasa who composed  the Vedas. It is actually a combinations of two Sanskrit words “GU” and “RU”. “GU” in Sanskrit means ignorance or darkness a “RU” means the remover of the darkness. Basically the person who is responsible for removing the darkness is known as Guru.
600 students, 20 teachers along with other staff gathered to celebrate Gurupoornima in our school campus.
Our correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian and Our beloved principal Mrs.Maheshwari presided over the function. Our teacher Mrs.Shanthi gave a  warm welcome speech. Mr.I.Kannan delivered the great speech in tamil about Vyasa Maharishi, our Vedas, Mahabaratha and  also about the value  of teachers. Miss.Jeyasri delivered the speech in English about GuruPoornima and also about the value of teacher.
Besides there were other  programmes such as Chanting Slogans and Guru Songs.Patha Pooja were performed to our Senior teachers by the students. Drama were performed by our students about Guru Poornima.Conversation was displayed by  students  about Guru Poornima.
On that occasion students were asked to get the blessings from their class teacher. Our teacher Mrs.Subbulakshmi proposed the vote of thanks. Finally the function was concluded by Kendra Prayer. Our Correspondent Shri.Subramanian arranged the function in a grand manner.

Kamarajar Birthday was celebration on July 15th   2019. As per the government order competitions were conducted among the students in remembrance of our great leader. On behalf of Kamarajar’s birthday our school celebrated elocution and drawing competitions. All the students participated very enthusiastically. Our pre-primary students also participated in this function and they  graced this function by quoting a few lines about kamarajar.

Swami Vivekananda Mahasamadhi Day is being celebrated on 4th July. In addition  to that we celebrated Annapooja in our school Premises on this day. Rice was collected from our students, and altogether it was heaped up and over this Annapoorani Statue was adorned. 

The  function started with the prayer song by our students,  following that Annapoorani slogan was recited by our music teacher Mrs. Lalitha Parameshwari
We had a conversation about Annapooja  and Vivekananda in Tamil as well as in English, which explained the importance of celebrating the function this particular date. We also had an orations speech by our student M. Kiruthick Roshan and S.Anushiya in Tamil and English about the significance of Annapooja.
 Our Principal Mrs.Maheshwari gave a speech an importance of Anna Pooja. Atlast we concluded the program by taking Arathi to the Annapoorani and followed by Kendra Prayer. Our Correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanianji arranged the function in a grand manner.

 The  International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school premises on 21st June 2019. The ceremony was inaugurated with lighting the lamp by our honourable chief guest Mr. Arul S Inspector of police .  Next our teachers Mrs. Muthu lakshmi and Sreenivasn Perumal delivered the welcome address. 

Next our honourable chief guest addressed the gathering and explained about the importance of yoga. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that need to be carried away. Yoga refreshes our mind and body. The school organized mass-yoga demonstration to the students. Five hundred students performed yoga.

Our correspondent Shri S.K. Subramanian presented memento to our chief guest and to our yoga teacher. Our beloved teacher   Mr. Kannan proposed the vote of thanks. The celebration was concluded with Kendra prayer. Our principal Maheshwari and our correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanian arranged the function in a grand manner.
