Republic day Celebration


“ Freedom in the  Mind; Strength in the words; Pureness  in our blood; Pride in our souls; Zeal in our hearts”. Let’s salute our India on Republic day


70th Republic day was celebrated with pride and patriotism in our school on 26th January 2019.


Mr. Paramasivan ( President of Hindu Viyabarigal Sangam) and              Mr. Tamil Selvan (Senior member of Hindu Viyabarigal Sangam) were invited as the special  guests of the function. Many members of the Hindu Viyabarigal Sangam also participated in the function.

Mr. Paramasivan  (President of Hindu Viyabarigal Sangam) hoisted the national flag. Bharatham was performed by our school students at the beginning of the function.          Continuously, our school students were performed Silambam and also karate.

Next, Mr. Tamil Selvan (Senior member of Hindu Viyabarigal Sangam ) delivered a great speech on Republic India. He  also explained the importance of students’ discipline through the moral stories . His speech was impressed by our students.

Finally, the program was concluded with Kendra prayer.

Sweets were distributed to the students and parents.

Annual day Celebration


29th Annual day, Vivekananda Jayanthi
  &
 National Youth day celebration

“ We build on Children’s strengths and celebrate their achievements helping children recognize the accomplishments and experience the joy of learning”.





Annual day forms an integral part of our school activities.  It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performance but also receive honours for their curricular and  co- curricular achievements.

The annual day function of our school was organized on 12th January 2019. The combinations of three celebrations (Vivekananda Jayanthi, school Annual day, National Youth Day) were celebrated together. The function began around at 4 p.m. Sri. Mayakrishnan BBA.,B.L., Subordinate Judge, Vallioor was the chief guest. Sri. Venkatesan, Senior Advocate, Panagudi was the special guest. Man. Ayyappanji, secretary of R.D.P, Vivekananda Kendra , Kanyakumari graced the function with his presence and blessings. Our correspondent Sri. S.K. Subramanian presided over the function. The honourable chief guest appreciated the school for its all round success and wished a better future for the students. Speeches on the greatness of Mother Bharat, views of swami Vivekananda, aim of Vivekananda schools and duties of us to be the good citizens of our nation etc.. were presented by the dignitaries. Our Principal Mrs. Andal read out the school Annual report. Prize distribution function was a moment of pride and honour for all the winners and achievers of the school.

          Rs. 10,000/- was awarded to the top scorer in XII std (K.Sudalaikalathi) by Dr. Muthukrishnan, Eswari Nurshing home, Vallioor in the memory of Dr. Lakshmanan.  Varieties of programme like Drama, Dances, Patriotic song, Dance on Kendra activities, Hanuman dance were performed by the students exposed their efficiency. Dance on Functions (Kendra activities) performance  by students was made more colourful in the cultural programme and got a big round of applause. Finally the programme ended with Kendra Prayer. Our Correspondent Sri.S.K.Subramanian organised the function in a grand manner.

GITA JEYANTHI CELEBRATION


“As Hindus there are plenty of things that we can be proud of Srimad Bhagavat Gita is the first on the list”.



            Gita Jeyanthi is the birthday of Bhagavat Gita. It’s calculated on Shukla Ekadashi in the Tamil month of Margazhi.


Gita Jeyanthi was celebrated in our school on 18th December.   Man. Radha Didi, Dhakshin Pranth Sankatak was the chief guest.  Our correspondent Sri.S.K.Subramanian and our principal presided over the function. The programme was started with lighting the lamp by Man. Radha didi. Bharatha Natyam on Krishna song was performed by students. Our teachers Mrs.  Vijaya Lakshmi  and Mrs. Muthu Deiva Nayaki read the message in English  & Tamil which was sent by Man. Nivedita Didi who is the vice president of Vivekananda  Kendra, Kanyakumari. Translation in Tamil was very superb. Radha didi appreciated the teacher who explained in Tamil. 

Our teacher Mrs. Lalitha Parameshwari chanted the slokas  from 17th chapter in Bhagavsat Gita. Students followed the chanting. Man. Radha didi gave the Inspiring speech about the importance of Gita Jeyanthi. In her speech,  she insisted the students to know the meaning of the slokas. As they are V.K.V. students, they should be role model to the society. Finally programme was concluded by Kendra prayer.

NAMASANGEERTHANA BHAJAN


          


Iskcon (Hare Rama  Hare Krishna)  and Thangamayil Jewellery team was conducted Namasangeerthana Bhajan at VKV, Vallioor on 23rd November 2018.


The programme was started with lighting the lamp by our Correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian. Shri. Mukunda Murari Dhas Swamigal from Iskcon created a conducive atmosphere in reaching God. He chanted the namavali (Hare Rama  Hare Krishna ) of Almighty Lord Krishna. He is well versed in all the modes of Nama Keerthana. His way of performing bhajan which attracts the students as well as teachers. He encouraged our students and staff to sing bhajans whole heartedly with proper voice. The whole hall filled with beautiful Music, enthusiastic, hand claps and devotional voice in harmony.


After bhajan 1050 students performed Deepa Aarthi to Lord Krishna with devotionally.

Finally prasatham was distributed to the students. Our respected, beloved correspondent Sri. S.K Subramanian gave away the memento to Iskcon member and Thangamayil Jewellery team. He arranged the function in a grand manner.
