This
day holds great significance as it represents the nation’s freedom from British
rule and the establishment of a sovereign republic. It is a time for Indians to
come together and take pride in their rich history, culture and achievements.

Our
School has celebrated the 79th Independence day in a grand manner as
per the guidance and support of our honorable correspondent Sri S.K.
Subramanianji and our beloved Principal Mrs. Esakkiammal @ Devi.
We
have invited Dr.Selvendiran President, Rotary club of Vallioor Central, as the
Chief guest, and other dignitaries Rotarian Chellappa, Assistant Governor Zone
24, Rotarian S.Sudhir Kanthan Ex president, Rtn.Vignesh Kanthan Ex President, Rotarian
Innocent Raja Treasurer, Rtn.Dr.Muthu Subash Ortho, Rtn.Valaingaipuli Ramesh,
Rtn Dr.Selvan Ortho, Rtn.K.Nambi Rajan, Rtn.P.N.Arumugam Rtd Thasildhar,
Rtn.L.Subramanian Rtn.Muthukrishnan and Rotarian Dinesh Kannan also took part
in this celebration. A warm welcome was
given to them.

The
celebration was started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and then prayer song was sung
by our students. Next
our Chief guest Dr.Selvendiran unfurled
the National flag, and followed by our students sang a flag song. Then welcome address was given by our student
Sri Sebika of Class IX.
Next
mass drill was performed by our students and our traditional dance Bharatham also
performed beautifully. Then our Chief
guest Dr.Selvendriran and Special Guest Shri.Ayyappanji gave a
motivational speech about our Independence day.
Then our student Mushkan Kumari of
class VII gave a speech about freedom
fighters. Next our students showcased their talent through various art form such
as patriotic dance, Tamil drama, Pyramid, special property dance, hoops and our
martial arts like silambam, Karate
etc. Then prizes were distributed to the winners who
took part in the Zonal Level Sports
conducted by Tamilnadu Sports Association.
Then vote of thanks was proposed by our students Baby Varshini of Class XI. The celebration was successfully ended with
National Anthem,and finally the sweets were distributed to all.
