Adventure Training to Students


        Adventure Training to  Students by Foundation for CSR @ Redington, Chennai


          We are very grateful to the Redington foundation for their valuable services.  This year the Redington foundation has introduced the adventure camp to our students to improve physically and intellectually. The students refreshed themselves through the new games and activities.  They participated in all the activities very enthusiastically.  The camp was conducted from 22.06.2018 to 23.06.2018.  The students of class VIII participated in the camp.  Nearly 55 students participated very actively and interestingly.  The camp was conducted by three eminent trainers Miss. M. Jasmine Mary,  Miss.  R. Kayalvizhi & Mr. Vincent Deva kumar. They explained about the merits of each activity.On the 2nd day the students shared their experience with the trainers.Our beloved Principal Mrs. R. Andal presented memento to our trainers. Our beloved correspondent Shri. S.K.Subramaniyan arranged the camp in a grand way. He saw the all activities and praised the trainers.

International Yoga Day Celebration

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
“yoga is a light, which once lit , will never dim 
The better you practice, the brighter the flame”.





The international yoga day was celebrated in our school premises on 21st June 2018. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Our honourable chief guest Mr. T. Kanagaraj (Deputy superindent of police) inaugurated the function and delivered a provoking speech about yoga.    Two of our wellwishers Shri Dharmar proprietor of Selvi Jewellery  &  Shri Chenthamarai Kannan (Proprietor, Valli Corporation) participated and made the function great made. Next our beloved teacher Mrs. Muthu Deiva Nayagi delivered the welcome address and explained about the importance of yoga. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried away. The school organized mass yoga demonstration for the students. The students of classes V – IX  performed yoga. Nearly 1100 students participated. More than 550 students from various schools participated in the event. Our correspondent Sri .S.K.Subramanian presented the memento to all the dignitaries and the teachers of other schools. The celebration was concluded with the Kendra Prayer. The function was arranged in a grand manner. Sweet was distributed to all the students.
