The
Mathrupooja function was celebrated on 02.03.2019. The function started at 11.00 am in our school
premises. The ceremony was inaugurated with lighting the lamp by dignitaries.
Prayer song by our teacher Mrs. Lalitha Parameshwari. One of our teachers
Mrs.Sasi Reka delivered welcome address.
Next
our honourable chief guest Man. Radha didi, Dhaksin Pranth Sankatak,
Vivekananda Kendra delivered a great speech. She explained how students should
give respect to their parents and nation. She also quoted that students, should
fulfil their parents’ wishes and also be a good citizen to the society. Special
guests Mr.Kannan & Mrs.Vishala felicitated the function.
One
of our teachers Mrs. Devi commenced the pooja by chanting mantras and
instructions were given to the students
regarding the pooja. As per the instruction, students washed their parents’
feet, applied sandal, kumkum and offered the flowers on their feet. They got
blessings from their parents.
After
our correspondent, principal and all the teachers blessed the students. Man. Kalyani
didi, Vivekananda Kendra & Man. Mangala devi, Vivekananda Kendra,
Kanyakumari also graced the function with their presence.
All
parents participated interestingly in this mesmerizing function. One of our
teachers Mrs. Nambi Nachiyar proposed vote of thanks. Our correspondent Sri. S.K.
Subramanian arranged the function in a grand manner.
