Guru Poornima is celebrated on 24/07/24 in our school premises. Every year we celebrated Guru Poornima in remembrance of Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsars’ birthday, as how we celebrated this year is a grand manner. The programme started at 10.30a.m. Mrs. Santhanamari, the President of Seelathikulam Panchayat decorated the stage as the Chief guest, along with her our Correspontent S.K.Subramanian and our Principal Mr. Muthukrishnan have decorated the dias.
Our choir group invocated the programme with prayer song and the dignitaries lit the lamp followed by mantras. A warm welcome address was delivered by one of our Students. Our Classical dancers gave a feast to our eyes by an extrodinary performance. An oratious speech as given by our beloved Students in English as well as in Tamil. Our beloved Principal honored our Chief guest by presenting a memento.
Felicitational address was delivered by our chief guest, who appreciates the activities done by Kendra organization. Mananeeya Niveta Didi words has been read by our teacher Mrs.Subbulakshmi. Students did the pooja to their teacher and got the blessings from them. Vote of thanks delivered by one our students to all the participants.
We concluded the function with Kendra prathana Sweets were distributed to all. Parents appreciated the activities. Around 865 students and 25 parents participated in the program.
