GURU POORNIMA CELEBRATION – 2019



 

Guru  Poornima was celebrated in our school to honour Veda Vyasa who composed  the Vedas. It is actually a combinations of two Sanskrit words “GU” and “RU”. “GU” in Sanskrit means ignorance or darkness a “RU” means the remover of the darkness. Basically the person who is responsible for removing the darkness is known as Guru.
600 students, 20 teachers along with other staff gathered to celebrate Gurupoornima in our school campus.
Our correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian and Our beloved principal Mrs.Maheshwari presided over the function. Our teacher Mrs.Shanthi gave a  warm welcome speech. Mr.I.Kannan delivered the great speech in tamil about Vyasa Maharishi, our Vedas, Mahabaratha and  also about the value  of teachers. Miss.Jeyasri delivered the speech in English about GuruPoornima and also about the value of teacher.
Besides there were other  programmes such as Chanting Slogans and Guru Songs.Patha Pooja were performed to our Senior teachers by the students. Drama were performed by our students about Guru Poornima.Conversation was displayed by  students  about Guru Poornima.
On that occasion students were asked to get the blessings from their class teacher. Our teacher Mrs.Subbulakshmi proposed the vote of thanks. Finally the function was concluded by Kendra Prayer. Our Correspondent Shri.Subramanian arranged the function in a grand manner.

KAMARAJAR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION



Kamarajar Birthday was celebration on July 15th   2019. As per the government order competitions were conducted among the students in remembrance of our great leader. On behalf of Kamarajar’s birthday our school celebrated elocution and drawing competitions. All the students participated very enthusiastically. Our pre-primary students also participated in this function and they  graced this function by quoting a few lines about kamarajar.

ANNA POOJA AND SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MEMORABLE DAY

Swami Vivekananda Mahasamadhi Day is being celebrated on 4th July. In addition  to that we celebrated Annapooja in our school Premises on this day. Rice was collected from our students, and altogether it was heaped up and over this Annapoorani Statue was adorned. 

The  function started with the prayer song by our students,  following that Annapoorani slogan was recited by our music teacher Mrs. Lalitha Parameshwari
We had a conversation about Annapooja  and Vivekananda in Tamil as well as in English, which explained the importance of celebrating the function this particular date. We also had an orations speech by our student M. Kiruthick Roshan and S.Anushiya in Tamil and English about the significance of Annapooja.
 Our Principal Mrs.Maheshwari gave a speech an importance of Anna Pooja. Atlast we concluded the program by taking Arathi to the Annapoorani and followed by Kendra Prayer. Our Correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanianji arranged the function in a grand manner.
