We
celebrated the 77th
Independence day function in our school premises. The programme
started at 9.30 am. Mr.S.Sudhir Kanthan,
President Rotary club of vallioor
Central presides over the function as the chief guest.
The
programme started with prayer song and Tamilthai Vazhthu was sung. next to that
our student Selvi. Muthu Sivasankari of class X delivered the welcome address. Honorable Chief Guest
Mr.S.Sudhir Kanthan hoisted the National Flag, followed by that our choir group
sang the flag song.
Presidential address was delivered by our chief guest and
also the Rotarian and the former president of Rotary club Vallioor central
delivered the felicitational address to the gathering.
Mass
drill was performed by the students, following that a traditional dance
Bharathanatiyam was performed and then one of our Students Selvi Sakthi of
Class Ix delivered an oratious speech about freedom.
Our
Principal Mr.Muthukrishnan delivered a special speech about freedom, continued
by his speech there was a feast to our eys given by our students by presenting
various programmes like yoga, flag
dance, patriotic dance, silambam, tamil drama, hoops, karate etc.
Prizes
were distributed to the winner of the competitions which was held on Kamarajar
birth anniversary and the independence day celebration.One
of our students MuthuRaja of class VII delivered the vote of thanks to the
gathering. Atlast we concluded the
celebration with the national anthem and sweet distribution.
Programme was organized
in a grand manner by our dedicated principal Mr.T.Muthukrishnan under the
guidance of our Correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanian.
