In our school, we celebrated Mothers’ day in
a grand manner to honor the selfless love and sacrifice of all mothers. The function commenced with a devotional
prayer song performed by the students to seek the blessings of the
Almighty. Next our school teacher Mrs.
Subha welcomed the gatherings of the function with a warm welcome address. Mrs. K. Sumitha,MA.,BEd.,( counselor of
VadakkuVallioorPanchayat), attended as the Chief guest and made it a great
privilege for us by Lighting the ceremonial Lamb to officially inaugurate
the event.
Our School Correspondent Mr.S.K. Subramanianji and Principal Mrs.S.Esakkiammal graced the occasion with
their unflinching support in all the arrangements. A variety of cultural programs and competitions were
conducted to highlight the greatness of motherhood. Students performed a
beautiful rhythmic dance and a choral tribute, singing heartfelt songs that
described the mother as a “Living art”and a miracle.
A poetry competition was specifically held
where students recited moving verses about the “Three- letter miracle” of the
word ‘Amma’. The winners of these
competitions were honored by the chief guest, who distributed prizes to appreciate
their hard work and talent
Regarding the singnificance of the
day ,teacher Mrs. Revathi spoke about how a mother is the first deity in a child’s life, referencing the famous words
of Swami Vivekananda. The program also
featured the golden words and spiritual quotes of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa
and Sarada Devi to emphasize the divinity of mothers. Interestingly, a Lucky card prize segment was
also conducted, adding excitement for the parents in attendance.
The Chief guest delivered an inspiring speechon
how a mother’s upbringing serves as the
foundation for a successful life. At
