Independence Day Celebration

“ This Independence day reminds us the struggle of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for our country ”

Independence Day was celebrated in a grand manner on  15^th August in our school campus.  The  Chief  guest Mr. Gnana Shekaran, Senior Lawar & organizer of Arivu Thirukkovil  hoisted the National flag. Man. Nivethitha Didi, Vice president of Vivekananda Kendra and Rock memorial, Kanyakumari was the special guest.  Students from all the level participated in Band Display.

Students made the celebration a grand one by presenting different programmes as Bharathanatyam, different kinds of exercises,  Yoga,  Karate,  Hoops, and Pyramid.   Speeches  about freedom in Tamil and English were delivered by the  Students.  Inspiring speeches were given by our honorable guests and they awarded prizes to the students who scored more than 90% marks during the last academic year.  After the celebration, sweets were distributed to students and parents. The celebration came to end with Kendra Prayer.   Our School correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian arranged the function in a grand one.

WORLD YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

WORLD YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

                    World Yoga Day was celebrated in a grand way in our school on 21.06.2016.  Mr. Perumal  RTO, Vallioor was the Chief guest.  Mr. John, Fire Office  was  the  special  guest.

                    The Schools which are located in vallioor were invited and enough Yoga practice was given to the students by our school teachers before one week itself.

2.   Salvation Army High  School

3.   Govt. Hr. Sec. School

4.   Concordia Hr. Sec. School

5.   Nalandha Matric. School

     

      The above mentioned school students gathered at 10 am in our school premises.  Nearly 1500 students participated enthusiastically. 

Our teacher Mrs. Muthu Deiva Nayaki welcomed the gathering and explained about the importance of Yoga.
      

        The special guest Mr. John delivered the speech  about the different types of Yoga and the benefits of Yoga.

                  

  The chief guest Mr. Perumal addressed the gathering by his valuable speech about Yoga.  He insisted the students to do Asanas. 

                

    Next many Asanas were performed by the students.  Our school children and other school children were participated interestingly.

 The memento was given to the chief guest by our Correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian. 

Mrs. Andal , Principal of our school proposed the vote of thanks. Sweets, Cool drinks and Biscuits  were distributed to the students. 

                    Finally function was concluded with  Kendra Prayer.

                    Our  Correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian arranged the function in a successful way.

MOTHERS’  DAY REPORT – 2016

                In our school we celebrated Mothers’ Day in a grand manner on 27.02.2016. The function was commenced with devotional prayer song by our teacher. Next our principal welcomed the gathering of the function.      Dr. Manickam, Leader of Sri RamaKrishna Paramahamsa Mantram, Panagudi & Advisor of Tirunelveli  Docters Association  as a chief guest and made a great privilege for us. Shri. S.K.Subramanian graced the occasion with his support in all the arrangements.

Many  competitions were conducted for the mothers and the winners were honoured by giving  prizes. Many mothers took more efforts and interestingly prepared more delicious and varieties of dishes from natural things without fire and wire. At  last the celebration came to end with Kendra Prayer.
