“Man making and nation building” is the only motto which we hold in our heart and soul.  We Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya  Matric  Hr.Sec.School, Vallioor celebrated the 161^st   birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, National youth day and our 34^th Annual day in a very grand manner.  The programme started sharply at 5.30 p.m.  A group of spectators filled the ground to enjoy the function.  

 

The President of Vadakku Vallioor special grade town Panchayat Mrs.Radharadhakrishnan presided over the function as the special Chief Guest along with her the guests  of  honour Mr. Radhakrishnan,   Mr.Perumal, Vallioor RTO were participated.  The dignitaries were led to the dais by our Correspondent Mr.S.K.Subramanian,  Shri.Iyappan, the Secretary of RDP Tuticorin and our Principal   Mr. T.Muthukrishnan.

 

The Programme started with Tamil thai Vazhthu and then the dignitaries on the stage lit the lamp accordingly.  Our school choir team sung the prayer song. Welcome address was delivered by our teacher Mrs.Maribala.  Our respected correspondent handed over the memento to the Chief guest as well as the guests of honor. Our Principal read the annual report of the academic year 2023-24.  

 

  Our honourable Chief guest delivered the Presidential address towards the gathering and then the felicitational address was delivered by Shri.Ayyappanji and Mr.Perumal (RTO).  Achievers were appreciated by the prize distribution.

 

 Colourful cultural   were done  on the stage by our dear students.   Traditional hertitage was performed in the way of bharatham.  Kinder garten flowers blossomed on the stage by colourful dance.  Lad and lass of I & II std students contributed a feast by dance.  Tamil is our heart, Hindi is our Soul,  a thought provoking drama in hindi was enacted. 

 

 

A special dance was performed by our students conveying the message of Kendra activities. Self protection events like Karate, Yoga & Silambam were performed. Importance of godesses explored in tamil   drama.  Ramayanam was brought in front of our eyes in the way of a dance performance. 

 

Intresting English drama and folk dances were performed.  Vote of thanks was delivered by our teacher  Mrs. Devi. Kendra prayer was sung our teachers.  We concluded our programme with National anthem.  Around 1400 participants were there in the programme.  It was considered as a fantastic feast.

GITA CHANTING CELEBRATION 2023-24

We celebrated Gita Chanting celebration on 22^nd Dec 2023 in our VKV Vallioor Campus. The programme started at 11 O’Clock. Mrs.R.Sudha Priyadharshini MBA Presided over the function as the Chief Guest. She is requested to lit  the lamp followed by her, our Correspondent and our Principal lit the lamp.

One of our students Selvi Sajitha of Class XI delivered the welcome address, next to that our senior teacher Mrs.Devi Chanted the Gita Slogan which was followed by the students. Then our students disguised as little Krishna and Gopiyar, a wonderful dance performance was done by them which was a feast to our eyes. 

One of our students Selvi Akila of Class XI delivered an auspicious speech about “the reason for why we celebrate Gita Chanting function”, A message was sent by Maneeya Nividida Didi, it was translated to our mother tongue and delivered  to the students by our teacher Mrs. Muthulakshmi.

Our honourable chief guest Mrs.Sudha Priyadharshini delivered the felicitational address. Our respected correspondent Mr.Subramanianji handed over a momento to our Chief guest. One of our students selvi Sahana devi delivered the vote of thanks to the gathering. Master of ceremony was done by our students selvi Sarulatha. Atlast we concluded the programme with shanthi Mantra. 225  Students and 50  teachers were participated in the programme.
