We celebrated 104th birth
anniversary of Man.Eknath Ranade (Founder of Vivekananda rock memorial & Vivekananda
Kendra, Kanyakumari) and the inauguration of science exhibition.
We initiated the programme with
prayer song. Man.Hanumantha Raoji Treasurer, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari was
the chief guest.
Sri.Raj Kumar, President of Viyaparigal
sangam, Vallioor, Sri. Pon Thangadurai, Macro ITI, Vallioor and Sri. Franklin, Senior
manager of SBI were the special guests. Various cultural programmes were
conducted. Rama Charitham, Speech on Hindu religion, Dance about Vivekananda
Kendra, Siva thandavam were highlights.
The presidential address was delivered
by Man.Hanuji. He shared the special qualities of Eknath Ranade and how he
worked hard for the construction of Rock memorial.
Exhibition focused on a scientific
and creative attitude.
The exhibition seeks to encourage the students. Exhibition
was divided into four section. They are Art, Science, Maths & Spiritual. All
the rooms Rangoli were nice. Spiritual room was decorated by Bhagavath Geetha’s
18 chapter, the quotations of Man.Eknath Ranade, Display of Ramayana, Rangoli
of Saraswathi were excellent. 
Due to children’s day celebration
various competitions were conducted. Many students participated and won the
prizes. Our chief guest and special guests distributed the prizes.
