We
celebrated the 130th year remembrance of Chicago address delivered
by Swami Vivekananda in the Parliament
of world religion on September 11, 1893. “Sisters and Brothers of America ” in
remembrance of that which still echoes in every ears,
we celebrate Universal brotherhood day
in the world. The function was organized on September 11, 2023 at 11 a.m.
The
function began with the prayer song
rendered by our students. Then this
program started with lamp light ceremony by our Chief guest, C.Arumugavel, LIC,
Branch manager of Vallioor, followed by our honourable correspondent Shri.
S.K.Subramanianji and our respected Principal Mr.T.Muthu Krishnan. Master of
ceremony was presented by Sakthi of class IX.
The event began with welcome address
by Jothi of Class VII. The students of
class X, performed the bharatham which enhance the beauty of celebration
Swamiji speech at the parliament of Religious on Sep11, 1893 was delivered by
Hashini of class IX.
Furthermore our
Chief guest shared his thoughts about
the pride of Kendra and remembered Swami Vivekananda’s concept of Brotherhood
day. After that various cultural
programmes were performed by our
students related to Swamiji’s Life and Kendram. Then drama which was performed
by class VII,VIII students has been liked by all. It described the moral of truthfulness.
At last our
respected Correspondent
Shri.S.K.Subramanianji presented memento
to the Chief guest. Vote of
thanks was proposed by Ahila of class XI. The program was concluded with Kendra prayer.
