Mothers’ Day Report -2024

“A mother’s happiness is like a beacon, lighting up the future but reflected also on the past in the guise of fond memories”.



·          Mother is the most lovable and adorable person.  No love can exceed or even match the love of a mother for her child. She is the best trainer and guide of her child, no less than God, always the first person whom we think of in our happy and not so happy times.  She has been blessed with the intense love and care.

·     

·          Shri. Rama Krishna  Paramahamsa was born on February20, 1836 in west Bengal.  He was the Guru of Swami Vivekananda. He treated all the women including his wife as a ‘Mother’.  Therefore in our school, the birth anniversary of Shri.Rama Krishna Paramahamsa is celebrated as Mothers’ day.


·          In our School we celebrated Mothers’ Day in a grand manner on 28/02/2024.  The main idea was to highlight the importance of mother in the life of a child and to make our mothers feel special.  The function was commenced with prayer song by our students.

·          Master of ceremony was presented by Smt.Devi.S, V.K.V Teacher.  Welcome address was delivered by Smt.M.Boobathi, V.K.V Teacher.  Then our School teacher Smt. P.S. Muthu Lakshmi spoke about the motherhood and their sacrifices.

·          Smt. Janaki Pushpam, RDP Co-ordinator of Tirunelveli Dist,  Vivekananda Kendra was the Chief guest.  She spoke about the greatness and sacrifices of mother.  She  advised the students that they should give respect  and love to their mothers and thank them for all that they have done to make their lives confortable and lovable.

·          Shri.S.K.Subramanian, Correspondent and Shri.T.Muthukrishnan, Principal of our school graced the occasion with their  presence.

·          The happy and excited mothers took part in the various games and competitions like pass the ball, Lucky corner and cooking competition.  The winners were awarded by Chief guest, Correspondent and Principal. Complements and snacks  were provided to all the parents.  Vote of thanks was proposed by our teacher Smt.M.Subbu Lakshmi.    At last the celebration over with Kendra prayer.
