· This day holds great significance as it represents the nation’s freedom from British rule and the establishment of a severign republic. It is a time for Indians to come together and take pride in their rich history, culture and achievements.
· Our School has celebrated the 78th Independence day in a grand manner as per the guidance and support of our honorable correspondent Sri S.K. Subramanianji and our beloved Principal Mr. T. Muthukrishnan.

· We have invited Mr.S. Vignesh Kanthan President, Rotary club of Vallioor, Central as the Chief guest, and other dignitaries Rotarian Chellappa, Secretary, Rotarian S.Sudhir Kanthan Immidiate Past president, Rotarian Innocent Raja, and Rotarian Dinesh Kannan also took part in this celebration. A warm welcome was given to them.
The celebration was started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and then prayer song was sung by our students. Next our Chief guest Mr.S. Vignesh Kanthan unfurled the National flag, and followed by our students sang a flag song. Then welcome address was given by our student Muthu siva sankari XI.

· Next mass drill was performed by our students and our traditional dance Bharatham also performed beautifully. Then our Chief guest Mr. S. Vignesh Kanthan was given a motivational speech about our Independence day.
· Then our student Sri Madhu XII gave a speech about freedom fighters. Our Principal Mr.T.Muthukrishnan delivered a speech about independence, and asked the students to live with partriotism.
Next our students showcased their talent through various art form such as patriotic dance, Tamil drama, Pyramid, special property dance, hoops and our martial arts like silambam, Karate etc. Then prizes were distributed to the winners took part in the competition conducted at Kamarajar birthday.
· Then vote of thanks was proposed by our students Madhu sri XII. The celebration was successfully ended with National Anthem,and finally the sweets were distributed to all.
