GOKULASHTAMI AND RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATION

 We celebrated Gokulashtami and Raksha Bandhan in our school Campus. The programme was started at 10 am.   Lord Krishna Idol has been decorated with garlands and sweets were offered to Krishna.   Our most respected correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanianji presides over the function as the Chief Guest.

 

 The programme was initiated with the prayer song by our choir group.  Lamp was lit by our Chief guest, Principal and the Parent, following to that a beautiful Kannan song was sung by our lads.  One of our Students Selvi S.Manisha welcomed the gathering.

 Our Students  disguised as lord Krishna and Radha and performed Bharatham, Our teacher Mrs.Subbulakshmi delivered a speech in tamil about the importance of celebrating this function.  Bhagavat Gita was chanted by our dear students and then a dance was performed by our primary students.

          
A pair of Students conversed and explained  the reason for celebrating Gokulastmi and Raksha Bandhan.  One of our teachers Mrs.Sethu lakshmi delivered a speech in English.  Few Students were selected and they tied  Rakhi among themselves.  Our teacher tied Rakhi to our respected correspondent and Principal Sir.  Lord Krishna’s naughtiness was displaced in front of the audience by the Uriyadi performance.  Prizes were distributed to the winners in lower kinder garten.  One of our Students delivered the vote of thanks  to the gathering. At last we concluded the programme with Kendra Prayer.   

 

Children from Kinder garten were disguised as Lord Krishna & Radha’s.  Nearly 100 parents participated enthusiastically.  Altogether 1100 participants were there in the programme.
