We
celebrated the 76th Independence day function in our school
premises. The programme started at
9.30a.m. Mr. Pon Thangadurai, President
of Rotary Club,Vallioor Presides over
the function as the Chief guest .
The
programme started with prayer song and Tamil Thai Vazhthu was sung next to that
Our Student Selvi Keerthana of class X delivered the welcome address. Honorable Chief guest Mr. Pon Thangadurai
hoisted the National flag along with his Rotarians followed by that our Choir group sang the flag
song. Presidential address was
delivered by our chief guest.
After
the presidential address, a disciplinary mass drill was performed by our dear students,
following that a traditional dance Bharathanatiyam
was performed and then one of our students Selvi Keerthana Mahalakshmi gave an oratious speech
about freedom in English.
There was a feast to our eyes given
by our Students by presenting various programmes like Yoga, Patriotic dance,
Silambam, Tamil drama, hoops, Karate etc. Prizes
were distributed to the winners of the competition which was held on
Kamarajar’s birth anniversary and the
Independence day celebration.
A colourful Saree drill was there by our
students which was too amazing. One of
our students Selvi Bhavana Raji of class X delivered the vote of
thanks to the gathering. At last we concluded the celebration with the National
Anthem and sweet distribution .
Programme organizing was done in a genuine
manner by our dedicated Principal Mr.T.MuthuKrishnan under the guidance of Our Correspondent
Shri.S.K.Subramanianji.
